Alexei Ruslan Pulled
Posted by Matt Shivan on 5 Sep 2002
Earlier this morning, reports indicated that Alexei Ruslan, advisor to Ivan Stanislav and OSW Superstar from Russia, had boarded a private plane whos destination was directly back to Moscow, Russia.
Ruslan, a reported Director of a branch of the Russian FSB, has been the advisor and extra set of eyes for The Russian Bear ever since his entrance into the OSW and subsequent PCW over a year ago.
"Rumor has it," said a source from within Russia that chose to remain nameless, "that Ruslan was specifically called back to Russia to sit in on various meetings, some that may be regarding Ivan Stanislavs current suspension within Russia itself."
Stanislav was suspended in early July from his military duties after publicly blasting his Motherland on OSW television.
"My friend told me he had business to attend to that needed his attention, that is all. I have no concerns regarding the matter. Alexei has made it abundantly clear he will return sometime next week." Said Ivan Stanislav.
This will mark the first card in Ivan Stanislavs United States wrestling career in which Ruslan was absent.
"For a man as powerful as Alexei Ruslan to have to pick up and leave immediately surely could be considered a cause for concern." Said OSW Commentator Nate Dumas, "Stanislav is slated to wrestle in a Jane Says match for the OSW World Title this coming Saturday on Slam. One of the most important nights of his life, and his chief advisor and backstage informant will be absent."
