Slam! Sells Out
Posted by Matt Shivan on 7 Sep 2002
Word hit the media this morning that the upcoming OSW Saturday Slam, which takes place at the United Center in Chicago Illinois, has been sold out.
The 25,000 person arena was reported to have sold out a few days ago, but the official count could not be obtained until earlier this morning.
"What is interesting regarding this situation is that the upcoming Saturday Slam is slightly smaller match-wise than other venues we have had, however the Jane Says Match for the OSW World Title, a match that is capable of headlining a Pay Per View event, is probably the major draw." Said OSW ring announcer Earl Henrich. "Its safe to say that the fans want to see the OSW World Title match tonight, and with the possibilities of the match and the unlimited number of outcomes, its going to be a must-see event."
OSW just came off from its infamous By Any Means Necessary Pay Per View and appears to only be gaining steam from there.
"If we can continue to sell out arenas the size of the United Center for regular shows," said OSW Owner Jane Reagan, "the OSW product will only continue to improve beyond its already stellar quality."
