Think Red #6

Greetings Comrades, it is I, Ivan Sergeiovich Stanislav with another edition of Think Red, the most unbiased and tried and true source for wrestling opinions, claims, and information!

To say that things have been changing within the OSW would be understatement, as a dramatic upheaval of the title holders, contenderships, and rankings of many OSW wrestlers has already become apparent, most notably from the infamous Jane Says Match of last Slam of which I participated in.

Change for the Good?

Are these changes for the good or for the bad of the OSW? To consider this, we must look at bigger picture. First and foremost, Howard Porter, the corrupt Commissioner of our fine federation, has lied, cheated, and slithered his way into winning the World Title. As I have said many times before, we should look to the past to notice the future and if we had done so, we would have seen a similar fate for our Title months ago.

Sebastian Toomes.

It was Sebastian Toomes who first acquired our World Title, and it was he who spit on it and made it into the worthless piece of metal that it is today. After the slew of Champions after Sebastian Toomes, the value and integrity of our mighty belt only depreciated until finally, it fell into the hands of the lowest form of life: Howard Porter.

The International Title has had a trying time as well, going from alleged drug user Nick Casey to Frankie Bones, a man with no integrity for our sport or care for anything other than his own self worth. While Mr. Bones may have the tenacity and the ability to make a successful champion, will he make a memorable one? Only if we wish to remember his loudmouth antics and four letter words that he is so prone to spewing forth.

However, while the International Title cannot be wrested from his control by yours truly, the World Title is certainly different story, of which I will explain in greater detail later.

The Mighty Bear of the OSW

On July 6, 2002, two days after American Independence Day, I, Ivan Stanislav, declared my independence from The Red Army and swore my allegiance to the fans of the OSW. Since then, the opposition that has plagued our fair federation, from men such as Graphic Violence, Silence, and Rhett Locke, to The Think Tank, have fled to every corner of the federation to hide, some blatantly quitting to be granted amnesty elsewhere.

But if you believe that with their fleeing comes a lax follow by The Russian Bear, they are sorely mistaken. Those cowards that fled outside of my sphere of influence can be left to rot in their own fear, but those that have had fortitude to remain here, they will be dealt with accordingly.

Since my ‘change of heart’ as some may call it the quality of life within federation has improved. The Think Tank has been fragmented, and while they do indeed hold most recognized title within their ranks, I do have chance to relinquish that title later on at Road To Ruin. Like the great Bolshevik Revolution of my forefathers, my revolution has transformed the OSW from a bleak, plagued federation to one of justice and ethics.

I wish to assure the people of the OSW that the need to fear those such as The Think Tank and rogues like Frankie Bones is no longer concern. Much like I did for Aimz and Tempest in the past, Ivan Stanislav, the bulwark of the people and proletariat, will be there to protect you!

The White Mexican

I would like to take this brief moment to address the "Mexican Question" as I prefer to call it. The White Mexican, from the PCW, who deceived us into believing he was El Drago for months. While I must say that the knowledge acquired by Comrade Ruslan had given me idea that he was truly fake, even I was marginally, only marginally mind you, surprised by his unmasking.

His words regarding me, particularly on By Any Means Necessary, I will not address. They were slanderous and painful. He had tried to use the people that were watching against me. My people that I have sworn to protect. And while when I decided he was no longer worth my time some of you were unhappy with my decision, I am glad to see that you have all come to your senses and are once again firmly standing behind The Russian Bear!

He swears truthfulness and faithfulness to OSW, and after his actions on last Slam, where he agreed to help me save Tempest from the barbaric trap perpetrated by Think Tank, I believe we should give this man some of our trust. While I may not trust him completely, I will trust him to the point of working with him if need be. But perhaps not turning my back on him just yet.

The First Couple

American’s use the term "buzz word" I believe, to mean a certain thing. "The First Couple" appears to be buzz word for the relationship between myself and Tempest. I would once again like to make it abundantly clear that the relationship between myself and Tempest is strictly professional.

It is true that I have come to her aid and she to mine on few sparse occasions and it may have appeared that in those moments of extreme circumstances we were closer than usual, but those circumstances were merely times of compassion for one another, of which I am sure she and I would offer to anyone else that was in such situation.

On Saturday Slam, Tempest and I will fight alongside against Alan Kriegman and Trashcan Man after their brutal attack upon her on last Slam and we have discussed strategy and policy. Together, we are merely two wrestlers put together to battle common foe. Nothing more, nothing less. We are not "Couple" by any stretch of word, we are merely two wrestlers fighting for common good.

The Future of the OSW

By Any Means Necessary was considered a bleak, dark event. I can assure you that will not happen again in the future. Our esteemed President, who appears to have tremendous amount of fun not only changing rules of conduct but also participating in wrestling matches, appears to have relative handhold on the OSW itself.

I have won my chance to win OSW World Title at next Pay Per View, and if Howard Porter is the man that I must go through to accomplish such goal at said time, so be it.

Many men in the OSW, men who did not live up to their names or the standards set forth by the OSW have been disposed of and now their names, that flashed and sparkled and yet did not pay off, are now gone. The younger talent, men without the flashy names but with the true fighting spirit, have now come to replace the lies with a single, powerful truth: Those that fight and take pride in the OSW will go far, while those that merely wipe their feet on it and try to walk by will surely fall.

That concludes my current edition of Think Red! Remember my Comrades, think of the good that Ivan Stanislav has done for you! Think of the justice that has been delivered by the mighty fists of The Russian Bear! But remember, always Think Red!!!

Ivan Stanislav
